CASE STUDIES - Some examples of our work

Performance car event, France

Monster Energy, Events. Gymkhana Grid Event.

Our services to the Monster Energy brand's Events Team were in relation to this ground breaking event for entry level performance car 'drift' style drivers.

The venue was at the International Motor Exhibition, Grand Halle D'Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand, France.

The Safety Organisation assisted by compiling an event safety management manual as well as on-site safety advisor services though all phases of the event itself.

Whilst the event passed without incident and was a tremendous success, the weather was interesting. We all had to cope with and manage extreme heat, rain, minor flooding and hail the size of large pebbles.

We then went on to work with Monster Energy on further heats in Germany, Holland Silverstone (UK) and the final at Santa-Pod Raceway.

British Gas Big Dip

Clapham Common, London, - Health and Safety support, assistance with licensing application and safety officer services.

Liverpool College

Liverpool College, which provides education for hundreds of children and young people aged between 5 and 18 years, is a prestigious client and is an excellent example the diverse range of our adaptability.

At Liverpool College, we provide year round advice, specific support services and training.

The operational staff and management benefit from not having to worry about having in-house expert skills, knowledge and resources to get health, safety and welfare right. They receive regular visits from TSO staff, training services and advice or any other support whenever they need it.

Chester Food and Drink Festival

The full title for this event is actually Chester Food, Drink, Lifestyle, Camper, Beer and Wine Festival.

This is an ever expanding event which takes place at Chester Racecourse. The organisers here are Chester Food and Drink Festival and Chester Racecourse but the event is also supported by other tourism, food/drink and business networks.

Attendance is normally around 30,000 people and hundreds of exhibitors.

Our assistance to health, safety and welfare has extended to hundreds of campers and visitors to the beer and wine-festival which was held indoors in the racecourse stand.

Students from the events management course at one of the region's universities were coached by ourselves in their organisation of the health and safety arrangements for the camping festival, which included tents, campervans and caravans.

TSO provided full health, safety, welfare, fire safety management and emergency services, which are all documented in a searchable format into an event safety management plan. Before the show opens, all of the site is checked for health and safety issues and a member of our team remains available to provide support throughout the show and take-down.

Complex site clearance operation

Here we assisted a company who wished to tender for a contract to remove and take waste to sites of final disposal. Together with the client, we compliled and wrote plans of work, suitable risk assessments and method statements. The work was very complex and was located on a former industrial site.

This project involved both open air and enclosed areas. On site were hazardous materials as well as inert waste.

Suitable systems were devised and recorded for properly and legally transporting and disposing of all of waste materials, including various types of hazardous substances.
