Events Northern have demonstrated to us their commitment to health, safety and welfare even when under the pressure of managing active and very complex events. One of their latest events was the prestigious World Health Organisation's, biennial international conference. The elements of the conference and associated events were located at the QEII Conference Centre, Westminster and the Natural History Museum, London. The focus of the event this year was, rather appropriately that of safety.

 

Manchester Event Hire and their 'sister' restaurant, Bacchanalia at Chapel Walks, Manchester City Centre are well known to us and have a high and deserved reputation for quality and reliability. They have a unique on-line planning system for smaller and more personal events but can supply services for very much larger events too.

Genesis Appeal

The Genesis Appeal is currently the only charity in the UK which is dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer. The team of professionals and volunteers work tirelessly towards the essential goals of the organisation. Knowing them, working with them and learning how their efforts directly and indirectly help and positively affect so many people makes us want to shout, "have a look at their web site" and see how you too can help.

 

 

 

Behind each performer hundreds of people are needed to “get the show on the road”, from lighting to make up, trucking to catering, staging to pyrotechnics – the roles are almost endless.  Backstage skills are required anywhere from live concerts and events to corporate hospitality.

The Backstage Academy provides a range of industry based short courses and a Foundation Degree in Live Events Production, covering all manner of backstage skills, from rigging and pyrotechnics to Apple training. It is an Apple Authorised Training Centre, an Avid Authorised Training Centre and is offering a unique range of industry focused courses.
